Working with a variety
of pelvic pain conditions

I work with women with:

- Endometriosis
- Adenomyosis
- Vulvodynia
- Vaginismus
- Fibroids and undiagnosed heavy menstrual bleeding
- Undiagnosed pelvic pain
- Pelvic pain in pregnancy

 Working specifically with pelvic pain

90% of my patients cite pelvic pain as their main complaint. This has given me the tools to distinguish different types of pain, and to work with patients accordingly. A number of my patients who have tried acupuncture before, and were initially skeptical about trying it again, have been very satisfied with the results. Patients often comment that the questions I ask are very specific, and that they feel I correctly understand their pain.

A good communicator

I know that acupuncture can be intimidating for some, and I appreciate when people trust me with their health complaints. I pride myself on being a good communicator, and always ensure that my patients feel comfortable. Before we put the needles in, I will explain what you should feel at each point.

 Results focused

You should notice an improvement in your pain. Generally, I suggest to my patients that if they have not noticed an improvement within three sessions, that acupuncture may not be best the treatment option for them.
